First on Friday...my husband got paid!! (me too!) He's been unemployed (due to the economy) since April 2009. That was the BEST feeling in the world! He's had his new job for almost a month now! We then decided to celebrate! We went down to Wal*Mart and checked out there $5 movies and we got 3. I picked Ocean's Eleven and Minority Report and my husband picked....The Flinstones. Go figure. Then we went out to Bajio's and we just happen to run into Levi's family there. Well we took Ryan...his little brother..(who is younger than my car!) back w/us and called his brother Blake and he came over and we watched Ocean's Eleven all together! Oh, and we ate the rest of my no bake cookies!
On Saturday I woke up and took my sister to her midwife appt...which was fun....I learned some stuff from her and I'm not even pregnant :) Then I took my sis out to lunch @ Great Harvest and then we did some grocery shopping together! It was Case Lot ....I love Case Lot!! Oh and I bought 2 more movies!! I got The Interpreter and Hildalgo. :) I love movies. My husband and I don't care for TV so we justify buying a bunch of movies since we don't pay for TV. Blake came back over and we went out to eat dinner @ TGIF (Blake had never been there) and then we went back home and watched The Interpreter. I am a Nicole Kidman fan (except...Australia...that was a weird show).
On Sunday....we got up and went to church like usual...but then we went down to Henefer to a baby blessing for one of Levi's cousin. After that we stopped by my parents and that was fun! We had dinner and just visited for a few hours. I don't go to my parents nearly as much as I go to my in-laws so it was nice to see them!! Oh and my dad gave me a sack of onions! Onions and Green Peppers are probably my favorite vegetables to cook with. They can go in everything! Well by then it was late so we headed home to get to bed so we could both get up and go to work.
Oh and over the course of the weekend we both finished the 3rd season of Lost! I'm so enthralled by that show!
Well, today I plan on going running and then I need to get me some of those starter cups so that I can start my garden this year! I plan on starting my onions, carrots and lettuce in the house now and transplanting them once it gets warmer!
Yay! What a motivating post. Loved it! Now I feel like cooking, running and watching lost. Look what you've started!
