TGIF!!!!

Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies

2 cups flour

1 tsp baking soda

1/4 tsp salt

1 tsp cinnamon

1/4 tsp nutmeg

1/2 cup shortening

1 cup sugar

1 tsp vanilla

1 cup pumpkin

1 cup chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 375 F. Sift flour with soda, salt, and spices, set aside. Cream shortening with sugar until light, add vanilla and pumpkin; mix well. Slowly add the dry ingredients to the pumpkin mixture. Stir in chocolate chips. Drop by rounded tbs., 2 inches apart on a greased baking sheet. Bake 15 mins.
