Well...I love my new car! I had to go grocery shopping yesterday (I went to 3 different stores!) and since it was such a beautiful sunny day....I rolled my windows down, put my shades on, blasted some Good Charlotte and zoomed all over town in my rockin awesome car! If you saw me ......you all would say who is that awesome girl....I totally want to be her friend!! I felt like I was cruising the 'vard in Cali!! Vroom, vroom, vrooooommmm!!
My dear friend Miss Mel.....is 25 and single. Now not that there is anything wrong with that....but the poor thing has just met nothing but loser boys on dates. Like won't come pick her up...or have insane mothers who come after her...no good! I told my mom all her woes and my mom said....You just let me see what I can do.....so....last night she called me and said..."Is Melanie free this Saturday...cuz I got her a date!!" I called Miss Mel and lo and behold she is free so I said....Girl I am setting you up! The kid I am setting her up with is going to the U to a be lawyer and said he will pick her and open and her door...and all that good stuff.....not bad right? Well the funny thing about this whole deal is....she is actually going a date on Friday w/a kid named Alex who is 24.......the kid I set her up with on Saturday....his name is Alex and he is 24 too! I had this horrible feeling @ first.....WHAT IF IT'S THE SAME PERSON!!!! Well I let Miss Mel know the whole deal and she said that's fine. I can't wait for the weekend now to see how her to dates go!!
On a different note....I went shopping this Saturday....w/Miss Mel!! Like go to the mall and buy things I want and don't really need shopping!! I haven't done that in an incredibly long time. I went to my two favorite stores.....Downeast Basics and Hollister and bought me 4 new shirts!! Guess what? Only two of them were pink!! I bought a brown shirt and a red shirt! Those are so not my color...but they looked really nice.......and on sale!! I wearing one today (the pink one of course!)
Today I have to got to get my car REGISTERED!! The cool thing I found out is that I don't have to get my car inspected...since it is a newer car it only has to be done every other year! Yahoo! I have to run to the bank in Ogden....get the title and then I am going to race up to Morgan to the DMV( cuz you NEVER wait there) and get it registered. They closed @ 6PM so I gotta be crazy quick!!
I get to finally plant my vegetables in just two weeks...give or take!!
Well it is lunch time and I got a cool magazine about making pizza I gotta check out!!
