Happy Birthday to Me

Well by now most of you know my husband is a good old truck driver. He just graduated about a month ago from his 4th year in plumbing but since the job market disappeared and has not come back to what it was he hasn't been able to find a job being a plumber. Therefore, when offered a job and free training to be a truck driver.....he took it. The good thing about truck driving is that it generally pays pretty well....the down side though is that your usually gone a lot. Instead of seeing Levi everyday now....I probably see him 2-3 times a week.

This means that I spend alot of time @ home by myself. Come home to an empty house and go to bed in an empty house....

Now my brother got to thinking that my birthday is in a couple of weeks and starting thinking what he should get me for my birthday. He got this fantastic idea and he called Levi to see what he thought.

So.....last night I was chilling at home....washing my dishes....doing whatever and my doorbell rings.....but I didn't hear it so next thing I notice is Summer (my sister law) walking into my kitchen and Danny (my brother) close behind her with a box with a big towel in it.

Guess what was inside?????

A cute little baby kitty!! It's a little girl about 7 weeks old. She's a black and gray tabby with little white paws. Absolutely adorable!!

Apparently Danny was @ the grocery store and someone was giving away a bunch of baby kitties. I love cats (well to a point)....but Levi hates them. I have told Levi a million times that I want a cat but I was okay with the fact that Levi would probably never let me have one.

Well when Danny saw the little kitties he immediately thought of me and called Levi to see if I could have one for my birthday. Levi figured...he's gone alot and I'm home alone now so I could probably use a little company so he told Danny to go ahead and get me one. Suprise Surprise!

Now I have an adorable little baby kitty at my house. She's a little scared right now trying to figure out where she is and figuring out who I am, but she is super cute and she is a good little kitty. She hasn't made a mess anywhere or chewed anything up yet and she was quiet all night long :)

Now....what to name her?
