A Nice Surprise

So most of you know that is was my birthday last week and it probably wasn't my most favorite birthday. First...let's just say that Levi didn't forget my birthday...he just kinda spaced it. Also, my dad's brother passed away over Memorial weekend and his funeral was the weekend of my birthday so my family was focused on that...which of course is completely understandable. Then, my birthday was officially on Monday which I worked that day and then spent the day helping my sister get set up in her apartment..she too spaced it was my birthday that day....then I went home alone until I feel asleep since Levi had left that morning for work.

So obviously not an ideal way to have a birthday.

Well...let's not forget that my dear sweet mother in law had a birthday dinner for me the day before my birthday and she made me a pink cake with strawberry ice cream!! That was nice! Oh and Levi's two Grandma's sent me pink birthday cards in the mail with birthday money! That was very nice.

Well......nonetheless poor Levi felt bad. So......he ended up getting home early today (he usually doesn't get home until late Friday night). He was home before I was......

And .......this is what I came home too......


Aren't they beautiful! I could smell them moment I walked into my house! Let's just say Levi is totally forgiven cuz these are the most lovely roses I have ever seen!

    oh Cynthia...I feel like a loser neighbor/friend now. I wish I could have helped made your day more special. But I didn't and I feel so bad. I knew it was your birthday coming soon and just like Levi...sort of spaced it. NOT FAIR.

    I love you and I think you are great. Happy Late birthday.

    I am noticing your goals on your sidebar...great goals. I would love to go to the temple with you...and we need to go to the cannery dang it. See? I space a lot of things.

    Oh April! Don't you feel bad for one minute! Your an awesome neighbor!
    I would love to go to the temple with you! I'm pretty much free any evening or weekend for that matter. I was thinking of going this Saturday sometime.
    Oh and the Cannery....we should go...totally forgot about that but we should definitely go again :)

    HAPPY LATE BIRTHDAY!!! Sorry things didn't go so great. I've been spacey for weeks now. It's hard as adults because we don't want to make a big deal out of stuff and make everyone think that things have to be all about "me", but sometimes it should be all about "me" dang it! =) Those are beautiful flowers though, good job Levi.

    So where do you work? I don't know much about you but I'm really enjoying learning more through your blog. I think we should have an "all about Cynthia" day so I can get to know you better. =)
